It’s time for an exciting night of intrigue and excitement at QFT 101! We’re looking at those movies featuring memorable performances of characters living their best double lives! That’s right, we’re celebrating ALTER EGOS!

Think Mrs. Doubtfire, Spider-Man, or even She’s the Man. These masters of disguise always have such good intentions for their clever deceptions, but their secret identities always get uncovered (and at the most dramatic times!) and everyone eventually learns the impotance of living authentically.

This is pretty familiar territory in the queer community, as many of us basically spent the first portion of our lives in the closet, pretending to be less-interesting versions of ourselves. Getting to live your authentic life is just the frickin’ best, isn’t it? And now that we’re living our authentically best lives, we get to watch all these silly straight people in the movies learn these lessons over and over again!
