Here at Queer Film Theory, we LOVE love! So we also love movies about love, especially the queer varieties! So for February’s QFT 101, our professors will be exploring the magic of cinematic romance through the films that made them swoon, maybe taught them some lessons, but always left them wanting more.

There are so many different definitions and ways of feeling and expressing love, and we’ve all experienced the concept differently. So it’s going to be a hoot to see how our professors interpret the assignment using one of our favorite movie genres and unpacking its tropes through a queer lens.

So find someone or someones you love and bring them along for our silly queer exploration of the (other) L-word. Unlike Valentine’s Day, we’re free AND we really can guarantee a good time!
